Lab facilities are provided to equip students of Engineering and technology
The Engineering Physics Laboratory is one of the major laboratories of the department. It enables the budding engineers to practically understand the fundamentals of the theory through a vast range of experiments. Experiments are conducted in the laboratory with the aim of making the budding engineers effectively use mathematical, scientific, and modern engineering tools in the practice of their professions. The laboratory is equipped with latest instruments and peripherals are made freely available to the students
The Engineering Chemistry Laboratory is well located with an airy and spacious hall of floor area including a store room for safe keeping of explosive & corrosive chemicals in view of the Laboratory safety. Each working table in the laboratory is well furnished with reagent racks & well connected with water supply & Burners.
Chemistry laboratory is wholly equipped through all the necessary implements. It serves to provide strong foundation in Applied Chemistry which in turn serves as a baseline for all Engineering streams.
Engineering students doing courses in various branches are to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge so as to serve the society in improving the living standards.
The workshop practical in first year is intended to impart basic knowledge of various hand tools and their usage in different sections of manufacturing. This practical knowledge helps them as a foundation when they do other practical. It also helps them when they occupy managerial positions in understanding the activities and practical difficulties of skilled workman who ultimately are involved in producing all goods in any industry.
Just as we say catch them young , to mould a person this practical training not only makes them familiar with the basic tools and equipment of engineering industry but also instills on them confidence to face practical problems.
